1. What is the difference between Hinge-Joint and Fixed-Knot models, and which should I choose?
The Hinge-Joint model creates a flexible knot that "gives" under pressure and springs back, making it cost-effective for general livestock. The Fixed-Knot model is a premium heavy-duty solution that uses a separate piece of wire to lock the joints, providing maximum rigidity and preventing sagging—ideal for high-tensile fences and large animals like deer or bulls.
2. Can the machine produce "Graduated Mesh" (smaller holes at the bottom, larger at the top)?
Yes. Our PLC-controlled system allows you to easily adjust the horizontal wire spacing. You can set denser spacing at the bottom to keep out small predators (like lambs or rabbits) and wider spacing at the top to save material costs, all while maintaining the overall structural strength of the fence.
3. How does the machine handle high-tensile wire (up to 1,200 MPa) without breaking?
DAPU machines are built with reinforced cold-alloy steel molds and high-torque servo drives specifically engineered for the high-tensile wire preferred in South Africa and Australia. Our synchronized feeding system minimizes wire stress during the knotting process, ensuring the wire's integrity and anti-corrosion layer remain intact.
4. What is the production speed, and is it possible to run 24/7 industrial shifts?
Our machines operate at a stable speed of 30–50 strokes per minute, depending on the mesh height. Built with a heavy-duty reinforced frame to dampen vibration, the machine is designed for continuous 24/7 operation. A single operator can manage the entire line, including raw material coil changes and finished roll removal.
5. How do you guarantee the knots are slip-proof and won't slide along the horizontal wires?
Each joint is formed by a precision mechanical knotting finger driven by a high-accuracy cam system. This ensures the knot is "locked" with exact pressure. Even under heavy animal impact or extreme temperature-induced expansion/contraction, the vertical wires will not slide, preserving the fence's original mesh dimensions.
6. How difficult is it to change the fence height or mesh width for different orders?
We have simplified the changeover process. Adjusting the fence height or the number of horizontal wires takes about 30–60 minutes by adjusting the wire guides. Vertical spacing (the distance between stay wires) is handled directly via the CNC touch screen, allowing you to switch specifications quickly to fulfill custom orders.
